Get your Florida fishing license before you book
Every angler 16 and older needs a valid Florida saltwater fishing license. Florida residents fishing from shore qualify for a free Shoreline License — but you still have to register for it.

Non-resident 3-day and 7-day licenses can’t be bought online — you’ll need a tax collector’s office or a licensed bait shop. Florida residents 65 and older fish free, but must carry proof of age and residency.
